Another cold front will move through the region on Tuesday with more clouds than sunshine along with scattered showers, maybe a thunderstorm in spots. The best chance for any rainfall will be in the midday and afternoon hours. Highs Tuesday will be in the 60s to the lower 70s. Behind this front we will have a reinforcement of comfortable air for the middle of the week. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine Wednesday with highs in the 60s to near 70. A bubble of high pressure will slide into the region. With a clear sky and light winds, temperatures are going to drop well into the 40s in most locations. Some of the coldest spots may even touch the upper 30s.
This high pressure system will help us to have a good deal of sunshine on Thursday with a comfortable afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s. Friday will turn even warmer with a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs in the 70s to near 80. Saturday will become warmer and more humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with the chance for some showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon hours. A front will bring some showers and thunderstorms Saturday night into early Sunday; otherwise, we’ll have clouds and sunshine on Sunday with highs in the 70s to near 80. A new area of high pressure will build in to give us at least partial sunshine on Monday with highs in the 70s to near 80. We’ll warm up a little more through the middle of next week.
