Overnight Weather Forecast Monday, April 2nd, 2018

A warm front will bring us periods of rain on Tuesday. Some of that rainfall will be heavy. Temperatures will once again be slow to rise along and east of I-99 where some places will not get out of the 40s. Farther to the west, some places west of Route 219 may reach up to near the 60° mark. We’ll have showers, maybe a thunderstorm in places Tuesday night with temperature not dropping much, but rather may rise in places that stayed cool during the day.

A cold front will move through the region with showers and a thunderstorm Wednesday morning. The rest of the day will turn quite windy, and in some places cooler, with clouds breaking for some sunshine. Highs on Wednesday will be in the 50s to near 60 but it likely will be lower than that by evening. Behind that system Thursday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine but the day may end up cloudy. It will be a chilly day with highs in the lower to middle 40s. While it will be a cold opener for the Altoona Curve, it looks like the game will be on. A cold front will move through with a gusty wind and rain then snow showers Friday. Highs will be in the 40s. Behind the front it will be chilly but mostly dry for the weekend with highs near to just above 40 and mix of clouds and sunshine each day. Some rain or a wintry mix is likely Monday of next week. We’ll have a warm up later next week.
