Overnight Forecast Wednesday, April 11, 2018

A front that is close to our north will bring us a good deal of clouds along with scattered showers, especially near and north of I-80 early tonight. Later tonight into Thursday the showers will sneak farther to the south as a warm front starts to pull away to the north and milder air starts to move into the region. After the showers early then rest of Thursday will be windy and milder with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the middle to upper 60s. Friday into Saturday will bring a nice taste of summer with highs in the middle to upper 70s along with a mix of clouds and sunshine. The warmth is not going to last too long though. A back door cold front from the north looks like it will sink through the region Saturday night into Sunday. If this happens, we’ll have a cloudy and damp day Sunday with some rain and drizzle. Temperatures may drop from the 60s through the 50s, maybe even into the 40s on Sunday. A storm system will bring a stronger cold front in from the west with some rain and maybe thunderstorms. Temperatures may not get out of the 50s on Monday. Behind the front, it will be brisk and chilly with a good deal of clouds along with scattered sprinkles, maybe flurries. Highs will not be getting out of the 40s. It will be cooler than average later next week.
