Overnight Forecast Monday, June 18, 2018


A cold front will be moving through the region tonight and it will bring us more showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms tonight will again bring some heavy rain and strong winds. Now despite this front moving through it will be another warm and humid night as our low temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s in spots. This front will finishing moving through the area tomorrow, but we will still have a couple of showers and thunderstorms to start off the day. Then the clouds will start to break during the afternoon hours. It will be a more seasonable day with our high temperatures in the 70s to the lower 80s, but the good news is the humidity will start to drop. Tuesday night will be partly clear with our low temperatures dropping to the upper 50s and the lower 60s. Then on Wednesday a front stalled to our south will try to move into the area as a warm front and this will bring us more clouds than sunshine along with some showers and thunderstorms.HIgh temperatures Wednesday will be in the 70s to around 80 degrees. As we head into Thursday and area of high pressure will build in for the end of the week. We will turn out partly sunny on Thursday with high temperatures in the upper 70s to the lower 80s. We will continue to be partly sunny on Friday and it will be another seasonable day with high temperatures will be in the 70s to around the 80 degree mark. As we head into Saturday the area of high pressure will move out the area and a disturbance will bring us clouds and sunshine with a shower or thunderstorm possible. It will start to become more humid and mild with high temperatures in the lower and middle 80s. Sunday will have more clouds than sun with scattered showers and thunderstorms as the disturbance moves through. Another area of high pressure will start to build in for the next work week, bring us a mix of clouds and sunshine Monday and it will be another mild day.
