Overnight Forecast Friday, May 11, 2018


Tonight, we will have some clouds, but there will be showers and thunderstorms around, especially to the north of Route 22. Low temperatures tonight will range from the upper 40s in the north to the middle 50s farther south. Saturday will be warm and humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine. We will have a line of strong to severe thunderstorms moving through during the afternoon. Some of these storms can bring gusty winds along with heavy rain and hail is possible. High temperatures will be in the 70s to the north, while to the south our high temperatures will push into the 80s. Low temperatures tonight will drop into the 50s to near 60. We will have some showers and thunderstorms around. Mother’s Day on Sunday will be variably cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, so it will be a day to stay inside. High temperatures will be in the 60s to the low 70s. We can have a lingering shower early on Monday. Then the clouds will break for sunshine and it can become mostly sunny in spots. High temperatures will rebound back into the middle and upper 70s. Tuesday will have high temperatures in the 70s to around 80. We will also have clouds and sunshine for Tuesday, but there is a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm. Wednesday will turn out to be another day with clouds and sunshine, but again there will be some showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours. Then on Thursday and Friday both days will have clouds and sunshine. There will also be scattered showers and thunderstorms mostly during the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures both days will reach the lower and middle 70s.
