Morning Forecast Sunday, April 1, 2018


To start off Easter Sunday there can be a flurry or sprinkle around, especially in the higher elevations. Otherwise we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine. It will be a cool and breezy day though with our high temperatures only getting into the 40s. Clouds will start to increase Sunday night as a disturbance will be passing to our south. This disturbance will bring some snow Sunday night into early Monday as it is quick moving system. Low temperatures Sunday night will fall to the 20s. After the snow on Monday the clouds do look to hang tough. It will be another chilly day as our high temperatures will only be in the 40s. It will be unsettled for Tuesday with a good deal of clouds with showers and high temperatures in the 40s to around 50. Wednesday will have showers around and it will become cooler. High temperatures will be early and will fall throughout the day. The Altoona Curve’s Home Opener on Thursday and it is looking to be a chilly day with high temperatures in the lower and middle 40s. We will have more clouds than sunshine and a sprinkle or a flurry cannot be ruled out. Friday will turn out to be another day with more clouds than sunshine with scattered showers. It will also turn out to be another chilly day with high temperatures in the middle to upper 40s. Saturday will have high temperatures in the 40s and there will be showers mostly early in the day and clouds will slowly break.
