Monday morning there will be snow showers. The roads again could be slick throughout the day. So give yourself a few extra minutes to get where you are going. The snow will taper to flurries by the late afternoon and evening hours. We do not expect a lot of snow but enough to make the roads a bit slick for our Christmas Eve day. The higher terrain west of I-99 could pick up between 1-3 inches. Cities and towns east of I-99 could pick up a trace amount to and inch. Monday’s high temperatures will reach the low to mid 30s. The clouds will begin to break apart late Monday and that will set us up for a decent Christmas day.
Christmas day looks nice with a mix of sun and clouds. High pressure moves in and that will clear out some clouds. if you are look for snow on Christmas day there doesn’t seem to be much of anything. The high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s. Have yourself a merry and safe Christmas.
Wednesday high pressure will still stick around and we will see a mix of clouds and sun. The day will be a lot like Christmas with our highs in the mid to upper 30s. The weather looks calm and nice.
Thursday we will notice a change in the weather. The cloud cover will increase throughout the day. Our next system will arrive late Thursday and into Friday. A few showers could pop up in the afternoon. Thursday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. We will tap into warmer air from our southern states so our temperatures will stay above average. The steadier and heavier rain will arrive late at night.
Friday will be a cloudy and a rainy day. The rain will be steady and heavy at times. There could be some ponding n the roads so take its a bit slow. Friday will be warm with our highs in the upper 40s to the lower 50s.
Saturday morning there could be a few leftover. The clouds will decrease throughout the afternoon and allow some sun to come down. Saturday will remain mild with the highs in the low to mid 40s.
