After a rainy start to our week, today we will have dry weather. A cold front will try to move into our region today, but it will weaken and break up before it makes its way to Central Pennsylvania. The front will only bring in a few clouds otherwise today we will have a mostly sunny sky. Our high temperatures today will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. This is warm for this time in September. Our average high temperatures for this time of the year are in the lower to mid 70s. Winds today will be from the northwest between five to ten miles an hour. Tonight we will have a clear sky and temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 50s.
A ridge of high pressure will build over the region tomorrow. This will bring us blue sky and sunshine. It will also be a warm day. Our high temperatures will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds on Wednesday will be light from the northeast. Wednesday night we will have a mainly clear sky. Our low temperatures on Wednesday night will be in the mid to upper 50s. Thursday will be similar to Wednesday. It will be warm with high temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s. We will have sunshine and a few clouds on Thursday. Winds will be from the south between five to ten miles an hour. Thursday night there will be a patchy clouds otherwise a clear sky with low temperatures in the mdi to upper 50s.Friday will also be a dry day with times of clouds and sunshine. We still do need more rain across Central Pennsylvania as we are still in a drought in many counties in the viewing area. This week will not help considering it will be rather dry and sunny. Friday’s high temperatures will reach the lower to mid 80s. Friday night we will have low temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s with a partly cloudy sky.
A weak disturbance will try to move through on Saturday. This will bring us a stray shower or thunderstorm. At this time it looks like most of us will stay dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the mid to upper 70s. Winds on Saturday will be from the north between five to ten miles an hour. Saturday night our low temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. A ridge of high pressure quickly builds back into the region on Sunday. This will bring us times of clouds and sunshine. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be right around average in the lower to mid 70s. Winds on Sunday will be from the southeast between five to ten miles an hour. Sunday night we will have a some patchy clouds. Monday we will have a partly cloudy sky. A cold front will slowly be approaching form the west that may bring us some showers and thunderstorms late Monday and into the day on Tuesday. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the lower to mid 70s. Next week temperatures will be right around average in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
