Today a ridge of high pressure will move into our region. This will bring us sunshine and blue sky. We will also have a few clouds as well. Our high temperatures on Tuesday will reach into the 80s. Today we will have more comfortable conditions compared to the past few days. Today humidity will start to diminish. Tuesday will also be a windy day with winds from the northwest between ten to fifteen miles an hour. Gusts could be in the 20-mile per hour range. Tuesday night our low temperatures will fall into the 60s with a partially clear sky.
A ridge of pressure will then sit overtop of the region on Wednesday. Winds are going to be light on Wednesday. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower to mid 80s. On Wednesday we will have a lot of sunshine and blue sky. Wednesday night there will be a clear sky and low temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s. On Thursday the high pressure will still be overtop of the region. We will have winds on Thursday from the southwest between five to ten miles an hour. This will usher heat and humidity. Thursday temperatures will soar into the upper 80s to lower 90s. Thursday night temperatures will not fall very far. We will have lows in the mid to upper 60s.
The heat continues on Friday. Our high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 90s. You will want to make sure to find ways to stay cool. We will have a partly cloudy sky on Friday and there will be some chances for a few pop up showers and thunderstorms. We still do need rain here across the region. Friday there will not be much of a breeze. We will have winds from the west between five to ten miles an hour. Our low temperatures on Friday will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. We will continue to see scattered showers and thunderstorms on Saturday. Otherwise we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine as the heat sticks around. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the lower to mid 90s, once again. Saturday night our low temperatures will fall into the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Sunday at this time looks dry at this time. However, a stray shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. Temperatures continue well above average on Sunday in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Our average high temperatures for this time in July are in the upper 70s to lower 80s. We do still need some rain across the region, as we are abnormally dry according to the drought monitor. Over the next ten days, we really won’t see too many chances for rainfall across the region. Temperatures will also continue well above average in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
