Hurricane hunter planes visited Pennsylvania today


Two of the dozen planes that are used by the government to fly into and investigate hurricanes touched down at the Harrisburg International Airport for a visit. Today government, media, school groups and the public got to learn about these planes and why what they do are so important. 

The purpose of this of the visit was to bring awareness to the threat that tropical systems bring to our state, specifically, the threat of flooding. This is a tour of multiple cities with the planes leaving for a visit to Norfolk, Virgnia next.
