Evening Weather Forecast Wednesday, September 26th, 2018

The last line of gusty showers and thunderstorms will move off to our east early tonight. The rest of tonight will become partly cloudy and cooler than recent nights. Lows will be in the upper 40s to the lower 50s.

Thursday will be a little cooler and less humid compared to recent days with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Highs on Thursday will be in the 60s which is about average for this time of the year. There is a slight chance for some drizzle in places Thursday night into Friday; otherwise, Friday will be a comfortable day with clouds breaking for some sunshine. Highs will be in the 60s to near 70.

Saturday will be bit breezy and a little cooler with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the 60s. This bodes well for the big Penn State versus Ohio State game that kicks off at 7:30pm but we’ll definitely need the jacket by the end of the day. A bubble of high pressure will settle over the region and give us a chilly night Saturday night with lows in the 40s. Some of the coldest spots may hit the 30s. Sunday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine along with highs in the 60s. Monday will be partly sunny with a breezy and warmer afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s. Some more clouds will move into the area on Tuesday with just the chance for some showers and drizzle. A shower or drizzle is still possible on Wednesday; otherwise, we’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine each day with highs in the upper 60s to the lower 70s.
