The gray and unsettled weather pattern is going to continue into the end of the week. Tonight will remain rather cloudy and damp with showers, drizzle and areas of fog. The showers will be more numerous the farther south you live. Lows tonight will be in the 50s. A front will stay stalled to our south and things will not be much different on Thursday for parts of our region. We’ll still have a fair amount of clouds with some showers and drizzle, especially the farther south you are in the region. There could also be a thunderstorm in some places during the midday and afternoon hours. There could also be some peeks of sunshine farther to the north, especially near and north of I-80. High temperatures on Thursday will be near to just above 70°. This front will come back northward with rain at varying rates along with scattered thunderstorms on Friday. Unfortunately, the ground is saturated, and we will have to watch for the potential of flooding in some places. The combination of an easterly flow and the rain will keep temperatures from rising out of the 60s on Friday.
Saturday and Sunday will be warmer again with a mix of clouds and sunshine. There will be a shower or thunderstorm possible on either day, especially during the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the middle to upper 70s. Monday will stay mild with clouds and sunshine along with scattered showers and thunderstorms. A front moving through will help to clean out the chance for showers and thunderstorm. We’ll have a nice day on Tuesday with highs in the middle 70s along with a mix of sun and clouds. We’ll stay comfortably warm later next week.
