We’ll have a clear to partly cloudy sky tonight and it will remain a bit muggy for this time of the year. Lows will be in the 60s. There will be fog developing later tonight and that fog can last into the morning hours on Wednesday. The rest of Wednesday will turn partly to mostly sunny with a warm afternoon. Highs will be well into the 70s to the lower 80s. It will also stay humid for this time of the year.
Thursday will also feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with a relatively warm afternoon with highs in the 70s to near 80. Friday will be quite warm for September. Temperatures will reach into the 80s in most spots. As a cold front approaches, there may be a shower or thunderstorm later in the day. There’s a better chance for scattered showers, maybe a thunderstorm Friday night. Behind the front, Saturday will not be warm with clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the lower to middle 70s. This front will stall not too far away and a disturbance may bring us some showers on Sunday. The chance will be better the farther south you are of I-80. Highs Sunday will be in the 70s, but if the rain does develop, some spots may not get out of the 60s. Monday will be cloudy to partly sunny with the chance for a shower. We will warm up on Tuesday despite some clouds thanks to a southwesterly flow ahead of the next cold front. This front may bring showers Tuesday. Behind the front it will turn cooler as we head into the end of next week.
