There will be an isolated shower or thunderstorm in one or two spots this evening then the rest of tonight is going to stay quite muggy with patchy fog and lows in the 60s. Wednesday will also be warm and humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine. A few spots will have a shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening hours. The best chance will be over the Laurel Highlands. While most of us will be dry, the spots that do get hit could have a flooding downpour thanks to all of the moisture in the air.
Thursday will also be warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially during the midday and afternoon hours. Highs will be near to just above 80. An approaching cold front will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Highs will be in the lower 80s. There are indications that this front may stall close to the region on Saturday. This is something that we will have to continue to watch as it could help to spark off more rainfall. Right now it looks like Saturday will start humid but the humidity may start to come down a little during the afternoon. We’ll have clouds and sunshine along with a shower or thunderstorm in places.
Sunday looks like it will be mostly dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs in the 70s. This would be good news for the Children’s Miracle Network Celebration event at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park. Of course that could change if this front does stall closer. Monday will be seasonably warm with clouds and sunshine along with the chance for a shower or thunderstorm, especially during the afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80. Tuesday looks to be dry with clouds and sunshine and highs again in the 70s to near 80.
