We’ll continue to have scattered showers and thunderstorms early this evening, especially south of I-80. The front that brought these showers and thunderstorms will then sink to the south and we will have a partly cloudy sky for the rest of tonight. It will be cool for this time of the year with lows in the 40s to near 50.
Behind this front, Wednesday will also be a bit cool for the month of June. Highs will be in the 60s which is a good bit below the average highs in the middle 70s. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine with more clouds in the morning and more breaks of sunshine in the afternoon. An area of high pressure will settle over the region giving us a good deal of sunshine on Thursday with comfortable highs in the 70s. Friday will turn even warmer with a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs in the 70s to near 80. Saturday will be warmer and more humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with the chance for some showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon hours. A front will bring some showers and thunderstorms Saturday night into early Sunday; otherwise, we’ll have clouds and sunshine on Sunday with highs in the 70s to near 80. A new area of high pressure will build in to give us at least partial sunshine on Monday with highs in the 70s to near 80. Tuesday will be nice with sunshine, a few clouds and highs in the 70s to near 80. We’ll warm up a little more through the middle of next week.
