The wind will slowly diminish tonight and any leftover flurries will come to an end early this evening. The rest of tonight will be partly cloudy and quite cold with lows in the teens, some of the colder spots will drop into the single digits. The cold will move out as fast as it moved in. Wednesday will become breezy and a little milder with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the 30s to near 40.
The next front will thicken clouds early Thursday and then we’ll have some snow and rain showers develop during the afternoon. Temperatures should still be able to reach into the lower to middle 40s ahead of that front on Thursday. Snow showers will be around Thursday night and end early Friday. It’s going to be a close call with the clouds for when Phil comes out of his stump just before 7:30am Friday. We’ll have all of the details live from Gobbler’s Knob. The rest of Friday will be cloudy to partly sunny and it will turn very cold. Temperatures may drop into the teens by the end of the day. We’ll have lows in the single digits Friday night then Saturday will stay chilly with clouds and sunshine along with highs not too far from 30. Temperatures will try to rebound a little on Sunday but, the next front will bring snow showers. That front will bring slightly colder air on Monday despite clouds and sunshine. Another front will bring some snow showers on Tuesday and an up and down weather pattern will continue.
