Some spots will have a sprinkle or flurry in spots this evening; otherwise tonight will be partly cloudy and chilly. Lows will be in the 20s to near 30. The warming trend will continue to through the rest of this week. Wednesday will be a little milder than Tuesday with a mix of clouds and sunshine.
As a warm front moves into the region there can be a shower in some spots Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night. Highs Wednesday will be closer to average, near to just above 50°. There still can be a couple of showers around early then the rest of Thursday will be breezy and milder with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the middle to upper 60s.
Friday into Saturday will bring a nice taste of summer with highs in the middle to upper 70s along with a mix of clouds and sunshine. The warmth is not going to last too long though. A back door cold front from the north looks like it will sink through the region Saturday night into Sunday. If this happens, we’ll have a cloudy and damp day Sunday with some rain and drizzle. Temperatures may drop from the 60s through the 50s, maybe even into the 40s on Sunday. A storm system will bring a stronger cold front in from the west with some rain and maybe thunderstorms. Temperatures may not get out of the 50s on Monday. Behind the front, it will be brisk and chilly with a good deal of clouds along with scattered sprinkles, maybe flurries. Highs will be in the 40s to near 50. It will be cooler than average later next week.
