A disturbance will bring some rain to the area tonight. The rain will be steadier and a little heavier the farther south in the region you are located in. We’ll also have areas of fog and it will be a cool night with lows in the 40s to near 50. This is a fast-moving disturbance and it will only be damp in some locations early Friday. Behind this system clouds will break for sunshine Friday afternoon which will help temperatures to rebound into and through the 60s reaching into the lower 70s in places along and east of I-99.
Another weak front will slip through the region later Friday night into early Saturday. Behind that front, we’ll have a comfortably cool weekend. Saturday will be a bit breezy with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the 60s. The sky will become mainly clear for the Penn State game Saturday night. You will need a jacket or sweatshirt during the Whiteout game. It will become quite chilly Saturday night with lows in the 40s. Some of the coldest spots cold even drop into the 30s. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine again on Sunday with a comfortable afternoon with highs in the middle to upper 60s. As this area of high pressure shifts to the east, it will become breezy and milder Thursday with highs in the 70s. We’ll probably stay mild Tuesday into Wednesday with clouds and sunshine and highs in the middle 70s. There is a possibility for a couple of showers around later Tuesday into Wednesday. There will be a better chance for some showers on Thursday as the next front moves into the region. Highs on Thursday will be in the 60s to the lower 70s. Behind that system, some cooler air will likely start to move into the region for the first weekend of October.
