A front will continue to bisect the area tonight. This will leave us with a good deal of clouds along with a stiff breeze at times. We’ll have some rounds of showers tonight and there is even a slight chance for a rumble of thunder. Lows tonight will range from the 40s north of the front to closer to 60 in places closer to the Maryland border.
This front will move a little farther to the east on Friday with periods of rain and drizzle. Temperatures on Friday will start in the 50s to near 60 but likely will drop some during the afternoon. Some places may even reach the upper 40s. Another disturbance moving along the front may bring another area of steadier and heavier rainfall later Friday into Friday night. The best chance for this new back of rainfall will be east of I-99. This front will finally slip east of the entire region on Saturday leaving us with a mostly dry day with a mix of clouds and sunshine and a bit of a cool breeze. Highs on Saturday will be in the 40s to near 50. Any chill will not last long though as a westerly breeze and some sunshine will help temperatures to rebound well into the 50s on Sunday. Clouds will thicken up fast on Monday with some showers developing, especially during the afternoon. Temperatures will reach well into the 50s on Monday. This will be another slow-moving front that will bring a mild rainfall on Tuesday with highs well into the 50s. There still may be a shower early; otherwise, we’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the 50s. Thursday will be partly sunny and cooler with highs in the 40s to near 50. We’ll have highs in the 40s.
