A cold front will move through the region this evening with leftover showers. It was quite mild ahead of that front today but behind the front chillier air will move into the region later tonight with a clearing sky. Lows tonight will be in the 30s to near 40 which is a good 10 degrees lower than last night. Tuesday will be breezy and much cooler with sunshine and a few clouds. Highs will be in the 50s with the wind making it feel colder than that.
Another front will move in from the northwest Wednesday but likely will pass through dry. It will be windy and cool Wednesday with more clouds than sunshine and highs in the 40s to the lower 50s. There may be a pop-up sprinkle or flurry on Wednesday with the second front. Temperatures will plunge well into the 30s for a low Wednesday night, some places will drop below freezing. Thursday will turn out to be partly to mostly sunny but still chilly with highs in the 40s to near 50. We’re going to have a freeze in some locations Thursday night into Friday morning. This chill will ease with a mix of clouds and sunshine on Friday. Temperatures Friday will reach well through the 50s to near 60 in places. The next system will bring plenty of clouds with showers and drizzle Saturday. Behind that system it will turn much colder again on Sunday with sprinkles and flurries along with a cold wind. Temperatures on Sunday will be no higher than the 40s. Monday will stay quite chilly despite a fair amount of sunshine. Temperatures on Monday will once again fail to rise out of the 40s. The chill will be slow to rebound as we head through the rest of next week.
