An area of high pressure will continue to dominate our weather into the upcoming weekend. This air mass is dry so with a clear sky and light winds, the temperatures will drop fast this evening. Lows tonight will be in the lower to middle 50s with some of the colder valley locations still dropping into the 40s.
As this high pressure system shifts to the south and east, Friday will turn even a little warmer with sunshine mixing with a few clouds. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
Saturday will be quite warm and more humid with sunshine mixing with a few more clouds. There will even be a pop up thunderstorm in a few spots during the afternoon, especially over the Laurel Highlands. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
A couple of pop-up showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon but the day should not be a wash out. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Memorial Day also looks to be warm and humid. As a front approaches, we will have times of clouds and sunshine on with scattered showers and thunderstorms. At this point in time, it does not look like it will be a wash out for the holiday.
Highs on Monday will be near to just above 80. Behind the front, Tuesday and Wednesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine along with highs in the upper 70s to the lower 70s. The chance for some showers and thunderstorms will make a return by Thursday afternoon; otherwise, the warm weather pattern will continue with clouds and sunshine.
