Evening Weather Forecast, May 23, 2018

What few clouds that are left in the region will depart early this evening.  With a clear sky, lighter winds and a drier air mass, temperatures will drop off into the 40s to the lower 50s tonight.

An area of high pressure sliding will give us nice weather Thursday and Friday with plenty of sunshine. Highs Thursday will be in the 70s to near 80. Most places will reach near to slightly above 80 on Friday.

Refreshing mornings will give way to comfortably warm afternoons with low humidity. The humidity will start to creep up with a few more clouds on Saturday. It will be a warm day with maybe a thunderstorm in places later in the day. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.

A couple of pop-up showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon but the day should not be a wash out. Highs will be near to just above 80.

As a front approaches we will have more clouds than sunshine on Memorial Day with scattered showers and thunderstorms. At this point in time, it does not look like it will be a wash out for the holiday. Highs on Monday will be near 80.

Behind the front, Tuesday and Wednesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine along with highs in the upper 70s to the lower 70s.
