Evening Weather Forecast, May 11th, 2018

This evening the cloud cover will increase and a few showers will come down for our northern counties. A lot of the showers will have a hard time reaching the ground and most towns and cities will just see a light sprinkle. The heavier rain and thunderstorms will arrive around midnight for our northern counties. Some of the thunderstorms will be quite strong and will produce strong winds, hail, and heavy downpours. The storms will sink south throughout the night but stay north of Blair county. Tonight’s lows will be in the low to mid 50s.

Tomorrow a few showers and storms may linger in the morning hours again north of Blair county. From 7am to 3pm central Pa will see a mix of sun and clouds and should be a pleasant and a very warm day. The highs on Saturday will be in the low to mid 80s. It will also be a bit humid throughout the day. A line of strong and possible severe  thunderstorms will pass through central Pennsylvania in the afternoon. Expect the winds to be very strong, lots of lightning, small hail for some of the stronger thunderstorms, and heavy downpours. The line of storms looks like it will clear out of PA around 7pm. The rest of the night will be breezy and we will see a mix of a partly cloudy to a mostly cloudy sky.

Sunday, Mother’s Day will be cloudy with scattered showers. The temperatures in the afternoon will be in the low to mid 70s. Sunday will not be a washout but an umbrella will be needed.

Monday morning a few showers may linger but the rest of the day it should be quite nice. We will have a mix of sun and clouds and the highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

Tuesday will also be a nice day and a bit warmer. Tuesday highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Wednesday a few showers and thunder storms may return in the afternoon. Your ten day forecast is coming up in a few minutes.
