Showers will continue into the early part of tonight. There still can be a flooding downpour in places with over an inch of rainfall in a short period of time. Later tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy with fog developing. Lows will be in the 60s.
The weekend looks to feature drier weather with a mix of clouds and sunshine. While a shower or thunderstorm can not be ruled out on either day, most of us should stay rain free. It will stay warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s on Saturday and the reaching into the middle to perhaps upper 80s on Sunday. The combination of this warmth along with moderate humidity will make it feel quite warm this weekend, especially when you are in the sun. The chance for a shower or thunderstorm popping up increases a little on Monday, but a fair amount of locations should stay rain free. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine Monday along with a very warm and humid afternoon. Highs will be in the middle 80s. Tuesday will also be warm and humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with a pop-up shower or thunderstorm in places. Highs will be in the middle 80s. The next front will bring more numerous showers and a thunderstorm or two on Wednesday. Temperatures will still reach to near to just above 80 on Wednesday. Behind the front, Thursday will still be seasonably warm with a mix of clouds and sunshine and just a stray shower or thunderstorm. We’ll then stay seasonably warm for the second weekend in August.
