Tonight, will become breezy with scattered rain showers mixing with and then changing to snow showers later tonight as a cold front moves through the region. There will be enough snow that there will be a slushy covering in some places with an inch or so on the ridge, but mostly on the grassy surfaces. This is all good news as any travel issues early Saturday morning will be limited. There will still be a couple of flurries and a touch of snow in places very early Saturday but then the rest of the day will feature clouds breaking for some sunshine. The only exception will be in the far southeastern part of the region where the clouds may hang tough all-day long. Highs Saturday will only be in the 30s to the lower 40s with the milder spots likely in the places that clear earlier. Sunday will also be a chilly day with sunshine and a few clouds. Highs will be in the 30s to near 40. A disturbance will bring the chance for some light rain and snow Monday. Right now, it looks like highs will be in the lower to middle 40s but that will really depend on the track of that system. Behind the system, Tuesday will be breezy with some rain and snow showers possible. Highs will be in the middle to upper 40s. Some sunshine will return on Wednesday. Thursday will turn breezy and milder with showers and drizzle. Despite that, highs should still be in the 50s to near 60.
