Today we will become cloudy with rain developing. Our high temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 60s. There will also be a breeze from the east making it feel cooler. Today we could have heavier downpours. This could lead to ponding on the roadways and minor flooding. If you come across a roadway covered in water turn around and take an alternate route. Due to the ground being very saturated in southern counties, The National Weather Service has issued an Areal Flood Watch for Bedford and Somerset Counties until Saturday morning. Tonight temperatures will drop into the 50s with more rainfall.

Saturday we will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with more clouds compared to sunshine. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the lower to mid 70s. This is above average for this time of the year. Average high temperatures for Mid-May are in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Some thunderstorms on Saturday could contain some gusty winds. Saturday night low temperatures will be near the 60 degree mark.

Sunday we will have times of clouds and sunshine with some showers and thunderstorms. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 70s. Sunday night low temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Monday the unsettled pattern continues. We will have high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. During the day we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine with scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday looks to be a drier day with intervals of clouds and sunshine. However, a stray shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. Our high temperatures on Tuesday will be in the mid to upper 70s. Tuesday night we drop into the 50s with patchy clouds.

Wednesday will be similar. We will have high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s with times of clouds and sunshine along with a stray shower possible. Wednesday night our low temperatures will be back into the 50s.

Thursday high temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 70s and we finally see a ridge of high pressure moving into the region. This will bring us a partly sunny sky. The rest of next week we will continue to see dry weather with some sunshine. Our high temperatures will soar into the upper 70s to lower 80s.
