Afternoon Weather Forecast, April 27th, 2018


Today we will have a system moving northward from the south. This will bring in clouds today and some showers. The showers arrive first to southern counties and then will move north and east. Northwestern counties will just have more clouds than sunshine with a stray shower or two. Our high temperatures today will be in the upper 50s and the 60s. Tonight we will have low temperatures in the 40s with variable cloudiness along with some scattered showers.

Another system will quickly move through on Saturday. Saturday there will be clouds along with some peeks of sunshine with scattered showers and drizzle. Saturday will also be a cool day with high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Saturday night there will be patchy clouds with low temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.

Dry weather moves in on Sunday thanks to a ridge of high pressure. This ridge of high pressure will dominate our weather pattern for most of next week. Sunday we will have high temperatures in mid to upper 50s. Sunday will be a windy day making the air feel cooler. Winds on Sunday will be form the northwest between fifteen to twenty miles an hour. Gusts will be higher. You may want to secure anything outside that could blow away down. During the day on Sunday we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine. Sunday night will be clear and cool. Low temperatures on Sunday night will be in the lower to mid 30s.  

Monday will be a mostly sunny day and it will be milder. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the mid to upper 60s. Monday night we will have clear conditions with low temperatures in the lower to mid 40s.

The dry and sunny weather continues on Tuesday. We will have sunshine mixing in with only a few passing clouds. Temperatures will being to soar on Tuesday into the lower to mid 70s. Tuesday night we will be partially clear with low temperatures in the lower to mid 50s.

Wednesday will be warm with times of clouds and sunshine. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will climb into the mid to upper 70s. Some locations could hit 80 degrees. This is well above average for this time of the year. Our average high temperatures at this point are in the mid to upper 60s. Wednesday night our low temperatures will be in the lower to mid 50s.

Thursday clouds will take over with a few peeks of sunshine. We will have a few scattered showers late on Thursday. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the lower to mid 70s. The rest of next week high temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
