UPDATE: I-80 re-opened in Clearfield County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that sections of I-80 eastbound and westbound in Clearfield County are currently closed due to weather-related crashes.

I-80 eastbound is closed from the 101/DuBois interchange to the 120/Clearfield interchange. A detour is in place using Routes 255, 219, 322, and 879.

I-80 westbound is closed from the 120/Clearfield interchange to the 101/DuBois interchange. No detour is in place currently for westbound traffic.

Both closures are expected to last into the early morning hours. PennDOT asks that drivers remain patient as crews work to re-open the roadway. Please use caution on detour routes and drive according to road and weather conditions.
