NEW YORK (PIX11) — A second grader in new york is already working on his future career in TV news.

Jericho Jose is a second grader who loves to cook, enjoys math and as it turns out, has a knack for TV news

It was this video project where Jericho took on the role of a TV reporter for a class assignment on the Northern Cardinal… That WOW’d classmates and faculty at Success Academy Hudson Yards and also caught our eye.

We paid a visit to the 8-year-old who is getting props from his peers and teacher for thinking outside the box.

Well, I am not going to take all the credit, it was all my family’s idea and because of that we were able to make something so fantastic.”

After 7 days of shooting and getting the lines just right, Jericho said it was all worth it.
