New Orleans Saints fans are still upset over a missed call that likely cost their team a ticket to the Super Bowl.

Los Angeles cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman committed a blatant pass interference penalty that wasn’t called, leading to a tie score in regulation play and an overtime loss for the Saints. Now several online petitions have begun in protest over the controversial missed call. has at least three campaigns running asking people to sign petitions from holding a redo of the NFC Championship game to firing NFL Officials of the game.

Redo the Saints Vs Rams NFC Championship game due to non calls by refs!
“The game was plagued by unfortunate non calls by the refs. Clear non calls that were announced by game announcers and later spoke of. Everyone saw it BUT THE REFS. The NFL later called Sean Peyton to apologize about this so they obviously acknowledge the wrong doing on behalf of the refs. This cost us a super bowl that we would have earned. “

Fire NFL Official Bill Vinovich and His Entire Crew
“Because of the blatantly missed Pass Interference/Helmet-to-Helmet no call in the last minutes of the 4th quarter against the New Orleans Saints, which directly resulted in the Saints being eliminated from the Super Bowl, Bill Vinovich and his entire officiating crew should be fired for gross incompetence. This will be known as the worst no call in NFL history.

Furthermore, we ask that the Commissioner enact Rule 17, Section 2, Article 1 and replay the game from the point of the missed pass interference/helmet-to-helmet call. “

Saints Vs Rams rematch
Whether your a saints fan or not isn’t important; what is important is those teams get a rematch with a new set of officials.

The NFL already admitted that was a blatant missed called, now it’s time to do something about this and let our voices be heard. Let’s get NFL commissioner to declare a rematch to make up for their poor choice in refs.

Sign this Petition, tweet the NFL, tweet Goodell, don’t let this go without repercussions!

Saints coach Sean Payton was glassy-eyed, calm and shrugged his shoulders at times, seemingly resigned to New Orleans’ bitter fate — as unfair as he thought it was.

And the Saints coach said NFL executives he spoke with by phone after a 26-23 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams agreed with him that officials on the field missed two obvious penalties on one late, game-turning play that might have prevented the Saints from advancing to the Super Bowl.

Officials could have called pass interference and helmet-to-helmet contact on Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman as he flattened Saints receiver Tommylee Lewis on an incomplete pass inside the Rams 10-yard line with 1:45 left in a tie game. The play occurred in close range of two officials along the sideline who never pulled out their flags.
