Steelers wrap up NFL Draft, take PSU Safety Allen


Marcus Allen highlighted the Pittsburgh Steelers day 3 selections in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Steelers selected the former Penn State safety in the fifth round. The Baltimore, Md. native will return to a place all too familiar to him, spending summers in the steel city when he was a kid. Moments after being selected, Allen tweeted, “I’M COMING HOME GRANDMA !!!!!!!!!!!! 412.

The Steelers also selected running back Jaylen Samuels from North Carolina State in the fifth round and wrapped up their draft by taking defensive tackle Joshua Frazier from Alabama.

Here is the 2018 Steelers Draft Class:

Round 1: Terrell Edmunds – Safety – Virginia Tech

Round 2: James Washington – Wide Receiver – Oklahoma State

Round 3: Mason Rudolph – Quarterback – Oklahoma State

Round 3: Chukwuma Okorafor – Tackle – Western Michigan

Round 5: Marcus Allen – Safety – Penn State

Round 5: Jaylen Samuels – Running Back – North Carolina State

Round 7: Joshua Frazier – Defensive Tackle – Alabama
