Day two of the NFL Draft has come and gone and the Pittsburgh Steelers have added to their roster.
In the second round, the Steelers selected WR James Washington from Oklahoma State, a very capable replacement after trading Martavis Bryant Thursday to Oakland.
Speaking of Bryant, they used the third round pick they acquired to trade up three picks in the third round to select QB Mason Rudolph, also from Oklahoma State. Rudolph looks to be the potential replacement for veteran QB Ben Roethlisberger who has expressed the possibility of retirement soon. Expect Rudolph to develop the next couple of years but a good value pick for the Steelers as many experts had Rudolph projected as a potential 1st round talent.
The Steelers wrapped up day 2 by bolstering their offensive line selecting tackle Chukwuma Okorafor from Western Michigan.
Day 3 of the NFL Draft wraps up Saturday. The Steelers will have three picks including two picks in the fifth round.
