Portage football coach retires

PORTAGE, CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — After 29 seasons Portage High School’s head football coach Gary Gouse has announced he is stepping down.

He took to Twitter to make the announcement this evening.

Gouse leaves behind a lasting legacy winning more than 200 games with the Mustangs. He coached in some capacity for the last 40 seasons.
