Altoona Curve Manager Michael Ryan has enjoyed championships the last two years he has managed but being in Altoona holds a special meaning. The Indiana, Pennsylvania native knows just how special it is to be the manager of this club.
“I’m glad that it’s me to be honest with you — to be part of the 20th season, it’s an honor to be in front of the moon and lead this club and to see how the season plays out as far as on the field — off the field promotions things like that. Being close to here I know it means a lot to me this isn’t something I take for granted I’m thankful for each day that I’m here. I’m glad that it’s me and I’m not saying anyone else wouldn’t do a good job, but I’m glad that I’m here,” Ryan said.
