One Penn State defensive back is withdrawing his name from the Transfer Portal and will play for the Nittany Lions in 2019.

Lamont Wade announced Sunday he will be returning to the Nittany Lions.

Wade played in all thirteen games for Penn State in 2018. He accounted for 18 total tackles, 12 solo, mostly contributing on special teams. He is expected to be in the running for a starting safety spot after sitting behind senior Nick Scott this past season.
