ALTOONA, PA (WTAJ) - No matter what happened earlier in the season, Penn State basketball fans will remember the scene Tuesday night.
Penn State upset No. 6 Michigan 75-69 Tuesday to move to 2-11 in Big Ten play. Fans stormed the court after the win to create images that will be remembered.
It was the first Penn State win over Michigan since 2013 - when the Nittany Lions fans stormed the court after beating the then-No. 4 Wolverines.
Lamar Stevens led Penn State with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman Myles Dread had a career-high 17 points.
Michigan coach John Beilein received two technical fouls after arguing with the officials about a Penn State offensive screen right before halftime. He was ejected and had to watch the rest of the game away from the bench.
