You still have about a month before Penn State’s spring game and much longer before the team kicks off the 2019 season against Idaho.
So you have plenty of time to wonder who will start the season as Penn State’s quarterback.
Coach James Franklin said previously, senior Tommy Stevens will enter spring practice as the No. 1 quarterback followed by Sean Clifford at No. 2 and Will Levis at No. 3.
Stevens will be limited to start spring ball after having surgery for an undisclosed injury and missing the bowl game. Coach Franklin said Wednesday, there is a chance Stevens could be full-strength through the course of spring practice.
Watch the video above to hear coach James Franklin breakdown Penn State’s void in leadership with quarterback Trace McSorley moving on and hear how the team looks to sort out choosing its next quarterback.
