Barbour says spring football a “last resort”

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. (WTAJ) – Ever since the coronavirus shutdown sports back in March, most people have been exploring all options for college football.

One option would be to play the sport in the spring, as long as it ended before the school fiscal year, but Penn State Athletic Director Sandy Barbour says while that idea is good in theory, there are many hurdles to pulling that off.
