Penn State women’s basketball was set to play its next game in East Lansing, Michigan.

Instead, an extreme drop in temperatures has closed Michigan State’s campus and has postponed the game Thursday.

The two teams will now play on Feb. 27.

Sophomore forward Alisia Smith is from Lansing, Michigan, and she was set to play in her home city for Penn State for the first time. Now the homecoming has been put on hold.
