According to a Finnish report, Penn State Men’s Ice Hockey star Aarne Talvitie will be out for the rest of the season.
Talvitie played in the Junior World Championship and earned a gold medal with Team Finland as their captain. He took a hard hit during the gold medal game and hobbled to the bench.
Penn State says they cannot confirm the injury until Aarne is back in the facilities. Reports say he travels back to the United States on Saturday.
He isn’t back in the United States yet, so Penn State can’t confirm until doctors get a look at him, but word is Aanre Talvitie will need knee surgery: https://t.co/DvRqhhzhyn— Ben Jones (@Ben_Jones88) January 9, 2019
