Mount Union baseball runs away with 3A state title

Sports

The Mount Union baseball had not won a baseball state title since 1995.

Well after just two innings of knocking in runs, they rolled to a 9-1 win over Notre Dame Green Pond Thursday to take home the Class 3A state championship.

The Trojans scored eight runs in the first two innings. Pitcher Seth Smith threw a complete game and only gave up one run.
