Walks come back to hurt Hollidaysburg in district championship

Local Sports

The Hollidaysburg Tigers had everything going for them Wednesday, until their pitchers couldn’t find the strike zone.

Ace and West Virginia commit Sam Servello walked seven Central Mountain Batters in less than four innings, surrendered just one hit, but gave up 3 runs as the Wildcats came back from 3-0 down to bludgen the Golden Tigers 10-3. It was the second consecutive year Central Mountain defeated Hollidaysburg in the district championship game.
