PUEBLA, Mexico (WTAJ) – Right-handed pitcher for the Altoona Curve, Osvaldo Bido, represented the Dominican Republic at the WBSC Olympic Qualifier in Puebla, Mexico.

The Dominican Republic won their first game, and took on the Netherlands on Thursday, with Bido starting on the mound.

With a win Thursday, the Dominican Republic would secure a spot in the finals on Saturday.
