Altoona, Blair County, Pa. (WTAJ) – Former Pirates Pitcher Steve Blass is calling it a career.
The man who closed out Game 7 of the 1971 World Series is retiring after this season after 60 years in the Buccos organization.
Blass went 1-on-1 with WTAJ and discussed what life will be like after baseball for him, playing with Roberto Clemente, and how he’s made it 60 years in this game.
