Two injured in morning crash

Wellersburg, Somerset County, Pa. - Two people are severely injured after a garbage truck rolled over and slammed into a tractor trailer. 

It happened just before 9 o'clock Tuesday morning along Route 160 in Wellersburg, Somerset County. 

Emergency officials tell us the garbage truck was unable to stop due to a problem with the breaks. It rolled onto its side before crashing into the tractor trailer. 

The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured, but two people in the garbage truck were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. It took crews more than an hour to get the men free from the truck. 

The road is still shut down. 

Police are still investigating the crash.
