TYRONE, Pa. (WTAJ) — A student at the Tyrone Area High School has tested positive for COVID-19, the district announced on Friday.

The district said they have identified those who are at risk of exposure and communicated required quarantine initiatives. The Pennsylvania Department of Health will follow up with those who have been impacted.

Anyone that has not been impacted may return to school on Monday for normally scheduled classes.

Tyrone’s football game against Penn Cambria is still scheduled to take place, according to district officials.
