String of Burglaries

TODD TOWNSHIP, HUNTINGDON COUNTY —  State police are investigating at least four burglaries in Todd Township, Huntingdon County.
The burglaries all happened between early May and sometime last week. It appears that most of them were hunting cabins or seasonal homes on rarely traveled dirt roads. In most cases, the burglar breaks into the home — sometimes throwing a brick in a window. But they don’t end up taking much. State police say food was taken from two of the homes. They’re not sure if it’s the same person, but they say there does seem to be a pattern. They believe it’s someone who lives around the area, since all of the burglaries are centrally located. State police in Huntingdon are well aware of these burglaries.
Tpr. Dave McGarvey, Pennsylvania State Police, said, “They have actually been aggressively patrolling the area in hope of not only deterring the criminals but in hopes of catching the person responsible for those crimes.”
If you see anything suspicious or know anything about these burglaries, give state police in Huntingdon a call.
