Senator Corman nominated for Senate President Pro Tempore

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — State Senator Jake Corman (R-34) has been selected to serve as Senate President Pro Tempore.

The Pennsylvania Senate will vote on Corman’s nomination when they reconvene in January. He has served as Majority Leader of the Pennsylvania Senate since 2015.

He will be replacing Joe Scarnati (R-25) who is retiring at the end of the year.
