UPMC waiving out-of-pocket costs for patients receiving COVID-19 treatments

(WTAJ) — UPMC is updating waivers for patients going through COVID-19 treatments at its locations.

Anyone receiving treatment for the virus will have out-of-pocket costs waived until July 20 due to the state and federal emergency declarations.


UPMC will also continue waiving their deductibles and co-payments for telehealth visits with the healthcare provider.
