Forest fires extinguished at Ohiopyle State Park

FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two forest fires in Ohiopyle State Park have been extinguished.

Multiple fire departments worked throughout the night to put out flames that broke out in separate areas of the park. Crews were first called to the scene around 5 p.m. on Thursday.

THE LATEST FROM WTAJ:

A spokeswoman for the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources reportedly said the fires started at opposite ends of the park.
